Terms of Service
Last updated September 2026. These terms cover how you can use SmartJib, and what you can expect from us.
1. Using SmartJib
By creating an account, you agree to use SmartJib for its intended purpose — tracking your personal budget. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter.
2. Your account
You must be able to legally enter into these terms to use SmartJib. Personal workspaces are private to their account owner; Household workspaces can be shared with members you invite, according to the role you assign.
3. Free and Pro plans
SmartJib’s core features are free with no time limit. Each eligible account may start one 90-day Pro trial without a payment card. Billing is not currently enabled, the trial does not renew automatically, and SmartJib will not charge you. If paid plans launch later, pricing and billing terms will be shown for your explicit agreement before any payment.
4. What SmartJib is not
SmartJib is a budgeting and tracking tool. It is not a bank, does not move real money on your behalf, and does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. Decisions about your finances remain entirely your own.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't use SmartJib to store information that isn't yours, to attempt to access other users' accounts, or to interfere with the normal operation of the app.
6. Cancelling or deleting your account
There is currently no paid subscription to cancel. You can leave or delete a Household workspace according to your role, export your data, or delete your account from Profile. If an erasure cannot be completed, SmartJib keeps the account available and reports the remaining steps so you can retry.
7. Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features over time as SmartJib improves. We'll do our best to communicate meaningful changes in advance.
8. Limitation of liability
SmartJib is provided "as is." While we work hard to keep your data accurate and available, we can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we aren't liable for financial decisions made using the app.
