Last updated September 2026. A short, honest explanation of the browser storage SmartJib uses.
1. Browser storage we use
SmartJib uses cookies, localStorage and IndexedDB to keep you signed in, remember language/theme and workspace choices, cache budget data for fast and offline use, and hold pending edits until they safely synchronize.
2. Essential storage
Authentication state, security/session data, preferences, offline cache and the finance outbox are required for the service you request. Blocking or clearing them may sign you out, reset preferences, or remove device-only demo and unsynchronized data.
3. Optional analytics
Firebase Analytics and any configured analytics provider stay unloaded and send nothing unless you explicitly agree. When enabled, only allowlisted product-usage dimensions are sent; financial amounts and free-form budget content are blocked.
4. No advertising cookies
SmartJib does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or sell profiles. Analytics consent is separate from the storage needed to run your budget.
5. Managing your choice
You can grant or withdraw analytics consent in Profile settings and clear browser storage through your browser. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future analytics events; blocking essential storage may prevent SmartJib from working or synchronizing correctly.
