A budget tells you what money is for. A balance tells you where it sits. SmartJib keeps both views separate so a transfer never looks like spending.
The core idea
Your budget assigns income to needs, wants and savings. Your money places tell you where the cash physically sits: bank, home, wallet. Mixing them causes the classic bug — you withdraw 300 MAD, the bank goes down 300, the wallet up 300, and logging that as an expense makes your total money look 300 MAD poorer. It is not.

How it works in SmartJib
- Transfer: bank → wallet. Total unchanged, both places update together.
- Expense: choose a category (what it is for) and a place (where it is paid from). Category progress goes up, the place balance goes down.
- Deletion: reverses both effects. No ghost money.
